Embedding Green Careers as a School Wide Approach

During this session, we will cover:

• Clarification of ‘green’ terms.

• Commitment to delivering net zero and the likely impacts on the labour market and workplaces.

• The importance of keeping young people in the loop and helping them to be prepared for the changes in work and workplaces.

• Concerns around green career guidance and suggestions made by practitioners (based upon empirical research).

• Practical applications for career practitioners – whole school green ethos, green career education and WIRD green career guidance (Well Informed Realistic Decisions from a green perspective).
