What kept you comfortable through multi-hour tattoo work?

Morning crew, I’ve got a full outer thigh piece booked that looks like it’ll run close to six hours across one long day and I’m starting to second-guess my pain tolerance. Previous smaller tattoos were doable but nothing this sustained.

Curious what you lot have used that actually stayed effective past the two-hour mark, especially on larger surface areas. I’m after something that spreads properly, doesn’t leave the skin feeling weird afterwards, and ships within the UK so I’m not stuck waiting.

Have any of you had an artist comment on how calm you stayed, or did certain options just not cut it? Prefer straight experiences over polished claims — the good, the meh, and the total misses. This is my biggest session yet so any practical insight would help settle the nerves. Appreciate the usual honest feedback from this group.

Been there, mate. Did a long thigh session a few weeks back and the pre-session nerves were real. After a couple of weaker creams that barely lasted I decided to give the TKTX numbing Cream a proper go based on some older posts I’d seen.

Delivery was quick and no-nonsense, the cream went on cleanly, and it held up surprisingly well through the extended shading. I could stay still and chat rather than tensing up every few minutes. Artist even said I was one of the quieter clients that day. Skin felt normal the following morning with no redness or sensitivity.

It didn’t erase everything, but it made the longer stretches a lot more bearable than I expected. If you’re prepping for something similar, this option performed solidly for me when the cheaper ones fell short.

The end is in sight! 🌞

Well done on another fabulous year to all our careers professionals working in independent schools who are breaking up this week for the summer! Enjoy a well earnt break.

State school peeps, keep going - we've got this! If you're running WEX over the next few weeks, I am sending you positivity and strength. It always feels like a slog as the rest of the school slows down and we're still going 1393001mph.

Setting up a mentoring programme

Not strictly creative, but I wasn’t sure where to put this! I’d like to explore setting up in person mentoring for our students - does anyone have any experience of this they are happy to share? I’m particular interested to hear what training/support/monitoring is provided to mentors - and if there is any suggested structure to sessions (or if it is up to the individuals involved).

Thank you!

Evaluating Privacy-Centric Exchange Models

Hi everyone. I’ve been looking into different ways to swap assets without going through the usual centralized bottlenecks. Most platforms these days require a mountain of paperwork just to move a small amount of BTC. Does anyone here actually use non-custodial tools regularly, or is the lack of a "support desk" a dealbreaker for you?

I’ve tested plenty of online games over time, but Plinko Online surprised me the most because of how straightforward it feels https://game-plinko.app/. There’s no long setup process or confusing mechanics. You simply pick a bet size, choose the risk level, and drop the ball. Watching it bounce randomly through the pegs somehow stays entertaining even after many rounds. What I personally enjoy is that the game doesn’t demand constant focus, so I can play casually while taking breaks during the day. I also appreciate that each round finishes quickly, which keeps everything moving smoothly.
