Building connection in our industry

ree

Hello all. I am planning our term 1 and 2 community and team events on The Careers Circle platform. If anyone has an idea of an event they'd like to run, or a topic you'd like me to find a speaker for, please get in touch.

The whole purpose of this space is for us to connect, learn, collaborate and develop so the more feedback you give me, the more I can ensure we're meeting that aim for everyone.

As a side note, I would love to start a Careers Book Club. I don't have time to run this, or read books on a time limit at the moment (I know, it's a sad state of affairs). If anyone would like to volunteer 45 mins - an hour a term to run a "The Careers Circle Book Club", please let me know 📚 🫶🏼

I am very tempted, I must say! Should we do a pole to see interest?

Shout out to Judith!

If you have watched the first edition of our Let's Launch! series, you will have heard about how fabulous Judith's Apprenticeship Support Programme is.

This week, Judith launched this support programme with her Year 12s and their parents/carers.

With Judith's permission, here is the booklet she uses to showcase their programme. I geeked out massively whilst reading it!

A huge shout out to Judith for this amazing programme and beautiful booklet. You're amazing.

Well done Judith, love this! Such a fantastic resource.

Shout out to Sharon!

Huge well done and congraulations to Sharon from Woodbridge School who successfully arranged a Saturday Careers Fair that saw over 200 students/parents attend.

Woodbridge School is an independent school but they made this event available to the local state schools near them which I think is amazing (the more we can do to support each other, and each other's students, the better!).

Well done Sharon.
