I had some random art supplies in my bag and had no charge on my laptop so used A5 black paper and metallic pens (from Amazon) with learners in a HN provision. We discussed strengths and achievements, the dream and actions to get closer to the dream and pros and cons of future options. We both wrote and doodled and chose our favourite colour pen. The keyworkers and Head also got involved!
It was such a freeing way to do guidance and the flow of pens helped the flow of conversation. I have bought the Career Doodle book to use this more in the future in other settings.
Here are some of the final results below :)

Does anyone use a tablet in their practice? I am thinking this could be a good addition to the tech I use in my sessions as I could draw the images I usually draw on the whiteboard straight onto the action plans so they're documented easily. Great to hear if anyone else is using a tablet, or any other additional tech, in their guidance meetings.
Is anyone else not able to walk past Flying Tiger stores without going in?! Picked these up the other day, much to the amusement (or perhaps bemusement!) of my colleagues 🤣 Still waiting for a chance to use them, but as many of my clients are learning to drive or are new drivers, I think it is just a matter of time before they come in useful as a careers metaphor!
Anyone else got a new tool they are eager to find an excuse to use?
(This thread is not sponsored by Flying Tiger - honest!)

It’s a drawing app, I’ve not used it so unsure how it compares to whiteboard. I have Freeform on my iPad and just bought a apple type pen which I’m experimenting with.
