What a term!
As we come to the end of our term, and head to Easter break, I decided to total the number of students I had seen this term (Jan - Apr). Bearing in mind I started in post in Sept, decided in Jan to see all of Year 12, and promised all plans to them by the time we break up, here goes ....

We have 550 students across our school, with an average of 78 students per year group.
And the last plan emailed out today! I'm so chuffed, I needed to shout about it somewhere! š

The Y9 & Y10's I saw were very sure already of the career path they are wanting to take, so it was very much looking at their GCSE subject choices, leading into A Level, then either apprenticeship or degree, and what is needed.
My Y12's is very much apprenticeship, gap year or uni decisions. Looking at options across all three areas, and the best route for the student. Similar but different!
