Apprenticeship

Hi, I am new to guidance after being a career leader for nearly 5 years. I am looking to train and have seen Complete Careers may be the best. I am wondering about the time, I have a little one at home and have just started in a new role. Do you think it would be possible for me to train this year or let myself settle into role first?

Thanks in advance :-)

Hi Faye. I did mine prior to my children being born. I think with a good level of organisations (and maybe a few late nights!), you would be ok. Others may have more recent experience. I will do a shout out on the virtual coffee tomorrow to see if I can get a few more people to share their experiences on this post for you. Thank you, Jess

Apprenticeship Recommendation

Hello everyone! Has anyone recently completed their L6 as an apprenticeship and, if so, would you recommend your training provider? Thank you.

I have done so much research on finding a provider for my L6. I have finally decided to go with Complete Careers, as their general customer service has been really good, also their course gives you 3-4 days with Liane Hambly, which was massive for me.

My L4 I competed with Ixion part of Shaw Trust, who offer the L6, and I had real issues with them, so decided to not continue, but I know quite a few have trained with them and said they were good.

Call of the Wild were not helpful at all, and I struggled to get basic answers out of them!

I’m hoping I’ve made the right call, but I liked CC’s ethos, online conferences they hold and they also support Quality on Careers award. They do their apprenticeships through Priory Apprenticeships.
