The Careers People win an award at the CDI National Career Development Awards 2025

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news... The Careers People have just won the ‘Innovative Product, Resource or Technology’ award at this year’s UK Career Development Awards! 🏆🎉

The winning product? Our school-branded careers newsletter. The key feature that the judges felt was innovative was the AI-powered podcast element that transforms each issue into an audio version. Why? To make sure every learner can access and enjoy career information in a way that works for them. It’s especially helpful for SEND students, auditory learners, and those with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

We’ve have three tailored versions of the newsletter: one for SEND schools, one for state schools, and one for private schools. This allows us to ensure that each setting has personalised content to meet their learner's needs and backgrounds.

This is actually our second big award win for this newsletter! Earlier this academic year, we won the ‘Careers Tool to Help’ award at the 2024 Careers in Careers Festival. We’re so proud to see the impact this resource is having. We now have 180+ schools, PRUS and FE Colleges utilising the newsletter, which means we are reaching around 200,000 students every week with opportunities to help them on their journey.
