The way that I work with my schools is that we don't pre-plan/triage allocated time, but offer further time if needed. Whether that is the next time I'm in school, or in the future (e.g. around March/April if interested in an apprenticeship). I've seen some students many times throughout KS4, (sometimes beginning in year 9), as they've needed that support. Others just once. Last week a Careers Lead booked a 2-hour slot for a student, and that was a good call, as they needed 2 hours (they'd had 1 hour the previous week). It is interesting - should the student and/or school be leading on the offer?
